In today's episode, Ryan and Reza meet with Dr. Harsh Bais, a professor at the University of Delaware. During this interview, he discusses his research studying the the roots of plants and how they interact with the microbes in soil in symbiotic relationships. He also discusses UD1022, a strain of bacteria found to act as sort of a probiotic to increase yields of crops.
Reza and Ryan also discuss the recent acquisition of SolarCity by Tesla and the perspective long term benefits that we may see through the use of solar panels to charge batteries that can be used to power entire homes.
